All players must wear the following equipment:
- CSA approved helmet
- CSA approved facemask with shield or cage certified for ringette
- BNQcertified neck guard
- Elbow, knee, and shin pads
- Hip, tailbone, and genital protection
- Protective gloves
- Skates
- Approved ringette or goaltender's stick
- Shoulder pads are recommended.
- A mouth guard is recommended.
The association provides goalie pads, helmets and sticks.

We recognize it's a big investment to get all the equipment needed to play ringette. Used and older equipment is just fine! To save money, we recommend:
- Posting on the Terrace Ringette Facebook page about what you are looking. Often as players grow, families sell equipment at discounted prices or swap sizes.
- Looking on Facebook marketplace and in local thrift stores.
The Terrace Ringette's Association equipment manager also has connections with ringette companies and retail stores, and can often get a discounted price if we order in bulk. Sometimes we order equipment in and sell it as is (jerseys, sticks, gloves, etc) and sometimes we'll put a call out by Facebook or email, asking if people are interested in ordering specific equipment (eg. customized jerseys, new sticks, etc.)
